WATERJET CUTTING

ICM uses Auto Cad files for Waterjet cutting on stone, metals, plastics or most any other hard material.

You provide your Auto-Cad drawings or we can make them for you with your ideas.

Waterjet is a computer-controlled industrial process that uses a high-pressure jet of water. The water is pressurized to up to 60,000 psi and forced through a small nozzle to create a high-velocity waterjet.

The process also involves introducing a cutting abrasive to the water stream, such as garnet sand. The pressure creates a vacuum that draws the abrasive into the stream, where it’s then fired at the material. The sand particles eat away at the material, causing erosion at such a high speed that it’s considered cutting.
